Welcome to The Joint Commission’s Workplace Violence Prevention Resources portal. This portal provides a valuable source of information from The Joint Commission enterprise and other healthcare organizations related to the topic of Workplace Violence. Our goal is to broaden the awareness of workplace violence by bringing relevant and timely information and resources to our multifaceted customer base.

On this site, we provide links to materials developed by The Joint Commission as well as government resources and those from professional associations such as the American Nurses Association and the American Hospital Association and its personal membership groups and related organizations. We encourage health care organizations to share their experience under the heading of “From the Field”.  We welcome suggestions for improvement.
