Provision of Care

Providing equitable care, treatment, and services requires efforts from all parts of the organization. This includes supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion of staff and leaders and providing the education necessary to support equitable care. It also requires the organization to communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers; accommodate the needs of patients with disabilities; and address patients’ health-related social needs.

A collection of curated resources have been identified to help organizations meet the certification requirements. Resources can be filtered by element of performance (EP), which have been labeled to indicate the focus of the requirement.
