On Demand webinar: New, revised requirements for Stroke Certification; CE credits available until Dec. 6
Continuing education (CE) credit is available until Dec. 6, 2023, for an On Demand Pioneers in Quality (PIQ) webinar on new and revised requirements that are effective Jan. 1, 2024, for The Joint Commission’s Stroke Certification programs. The programs include Acute Stroke Ready Hospital, Primary Stroke Center, Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center certification programs. See the prepublication standards on The Joint Commission website.
The new and revised requirements reflect the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association national guidelines for stroke care and program implementation in addition to current evidence-based practices, research, and scientific statements.
This webinar is approved for one CE credit; see The Joint Commission’s continuing education policies for more information. Please forward this registration information to staff and colleagues so they too can take advantage of this educational opportunity. There is no limit on the number of your facility’s staff who can attend. To complete the activity, participants must view the recorded content and complete the CE survey and attestation.
