Emergency Call Station - Public Restroom
What are the requirements for an emergency call button in a public restroom?
Any examples are for illustrative purposes only.
Emergency call stations are not required for restrooms designated for public use, such as those found in waiting and reception areas.
Nurse call device requirements are addressed in the 2018 edition of the FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals; Table 2.1-2 Locations for Nurse Call Devices in Hospitals.
