Certification Measure Information Process (CMIP) - Submission Directions

What is the process for firms to submit performance measure data via CMIP?

Any examples are for illustrative purposes only.

The performance measure requirements for all HCSS firms include:
  • Collection of monthly data points (Numerator/Denominator) for the three standardized measures
  • Performance improvement is a continuous study and adjustment and should be entered in CMIP as it becomes available
  • HCSS firms are required to submit performance data no later than 45 days following the end of the calendar quarter
  • Data submission is accomplished by entering  and saving monthly data points (numerator and denominator value for each measure). Saving the information will transmit the data to The Joint Commission.
