Refrigerator Temperature - Temperature Logs - Non-patient Care

What is the requirement or standard that addresses thermometers or temperature logs in staff only refrigerators?

Any examples are for illustrative purposes only.

The Joint Commission does not require staff only refrigerators to have a thermometer installed or that temperature monitoring logs be documented.

It is always recommended to contact your state or local health department to confirm if there are any code requirements to your geographic location.
