Sprinkler protection provides a quick response to a life threatening fire condition. Suppressing the fire rather than containing ensures a safe patient care environment, while protecting the building.

A sprinklered building allows certain building features to be reduced. However, if the sprinkler system were compromised, the amount of fire protection would also be impacted, and patients and staff placed at fire risk.
