Take 5: 2018 Speak Up Refresh

Research has shown that patients who are educated about their health and who participate in decisions about their care have better results and are more satisfied with the care they receive. With that in mind, The Joint Commission launched its Speak Up™ program. For over fifteen years, Speak Up offered practical guidance to help the public play an active role in their care by providing them with free, downloadable education materials. In an effort to further improve this already award-winning program, The Joint Commission debuted a new look and updates to the campaigns in 2018.
