Chest Pain Certification option now available

A Chest Pain Certification is now available under the Disease-Specific Care Certification program. Certified programs must demonstrate a systematic approach to care delivery and a commitment to performance improvement through ongoing data collection and analysis.


VAD for Destination Therapy requirements revised to align with CMS

Revisions have been made to the requirements for the disease-specific care (DSC) advanced certification program for Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) for Destination Therapy that align the requirements with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) final National Coverage Decision (NCD) memorandum for VADs for Bridge-to-Transplant and Destination Therapy.
