Redesigned Laboratory E-App launching this spring

This spring, The Joint Commission will launch its newly redesigned and improved electronic application (E-App) for its Laboratory accreditation program.


Comment on the standards

Customers and other interested parties are invited to comment on the standards via an online form on The Joint Commission website. The Joint Commission is interested in knowing which standards our customers and stakeholders value the most, and those which they consider to be of questionable value to the delivery of quality health care.

Patient Safety Awareness Week: March 3-9

It’s Patient Safety Awareness Week and The Joint Commission is celebrating with the release of our new animated video “Speak Up: About Your Pain.” Join us by linking to our video and encouraging patients to take an active role in their care. Patient Safety Awareness Week is an annual education and awareness campaign for health care safety led by the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF).
