Proposed Revisions to Resuscitation Requirements Hospital Accreditation Program Field Review

The Joint Commission is proposing new and revised resuscitation requirements for the hospital and the critical access hospital accreditation programs. The proposed requirements aim to strengthen resuscitation and post-cardiac arrest care to optimize survival after in-hospital cardiac arrest. We are also researching measures related to in-hospital cardiopulmonary arrest. We welcome your thoughtful feedback on these initiatives.
