Proposed Requirements for the Post-Acute Care Certification Program Field Review
The Joint Commission is updating the standards for the Post-Acute Care Certification program for Nursing Care Centers. All updates align with the clinical practice guidelines of the American Medical Director Association Society for Post-Acute and Long Term Care Medicine. The purpose of this review is to provide the field with an opportunity to share feedback on the updates to standards and proposed concepts. Updates relate to the following domains: Human Resource, Leadership, Provision of Care and Performance Improvement.
