Stroke Team - Board Certification

Does the stroke team have to include a board certified neurologist?

No. A board certified neurologist is not required. It is recommended that the physician be educated and trained in the treatment of stroke. A neurologist is preferred, but the program is not required to have a Board Certified neurologist unless this is a requirement of the organization.
