Take 5: Ambulatory Surgical Centers Survey Changes for 2017

Effective Jan. 1, 2017, in order to better align with the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) surveyor guidelines, approximately two-thirds of ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs) electing to use the Medicare-deemed option may receive adjustments to the survey complements (length and/or number of surveyors).
