NAHQ: Healthcare Quality Week, Oct. 20-26

Healthcare Quality Week, brought to you by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), honors the critical role of quality and the enormous impact quality professionals have in improving healthcare. On Tuesday, Oct. 22, from noon-1 pm CT, Jonathan B. Perlin, MD, PhD, president and chief executive officer, The Joint Commission and Joint Commission International, and NAHQ CEO Stephanie Mercado will speak on “Taking Quality & Safety to Higher Ground.”

Both Dr. Perlin and Mrs. Mercado are on a mission to shift legacy perspectives about healthcare quality and safety. They will discuss how quality and safety are inextricably linked and essential to improving patient outcomes. Dr. Perlin will share how The Joint Commission’s HELP agenda provides a pathway for resiliency as organizations seek continuous improvement.
