New Joint Commission President Dr. Jonathan B. Perlin to deliver keynote address at 2022 Hospital Executive Briefing

The 2022 Hospital Executive Briefing — scheduled for Sept. 13 — will feature a keynote address from new Joint Commission President and CEO Jonathan B. Perlin, MD, PhD, MSHA, MACP, FACMI.

This year’s event will offer limited in-person seating at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare, 5440 N. River Road in Rosemont, Illinois. For those not participating in-person, the event also will be available via live webcast.

The event will help attendees learn how healthcare teams who strive to reduce risk, improve safety and enhance quality of care also can achieve cost containment and more resilient workplaces. Attendees also will learn about:

• Data-driven observations, trends, themes, and advice based on aggregate survey data and The Joint Commission leadership experience.
• How hospitals can continue the journey to better patient care with zero harm after emerging from a period of high-risk challenges.
• Critical topics and information from Joint Commission officers and subject matter experts.

Attendees also can make it a two-day event by taking part in the Hospital Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Update the next day on Sept. 14.
