Joint Commission President and CEO Jonathan B. Perlin, MD, PhD, MSHA, MACP, FACMI, will outline the new priorities of The Joint Commission relating to healthcare equity, environmental sustainability, and workforce during a collaborative webinar with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) at 10 a.m. ET on Feb. 22.
The webinar — which also will be recorded and made available on-demand 48 hours after the live event — aims to help participants understand the direction of The Joint Commission in moving to a model that integrates standards with the organization’s own improvement priorities and develop additional strategies to combat vaccine hesitancy and misinformation.
The presentation is anticipated to last approximately 40 minutes and a Q&A will follow with APIC CEO Devin Jopp, EdD, MS.

- Identify common issues and questions regarding the eCQM.
