Engage with the eCQI community

February 12, 2016

There are many opportunities, forums and groups working on eCQM development and implementation. If you are interested in engaging with the eCQI community, the eCQI resource center provides a list of engagement opportunities by stakeholder. Here are our top picks for hospitals:

  • CMS’s eHealth Provider Webinars: Provides a series of eHealth webinars to educate the health care community about the eHealth programs and resources available.

  • Change Review Process Group: Discusses and demonstrates proposed measure changes to federally required quality measures prior to their incorporation into those measure specifications in order to ensure successful implementation in the field. Meets the 3rd Thursday 3-4:30pm ET (currently on hiatus, will reconvene Spring 2016). Contact: Derrick Owusu, DOwusu@mathematica-mpr.com

  • QDM user group monthly meetings: discusses issues related to the Quality Data Model, which is used to categorize and provide context for clinical concepts used in eCQMs.

  • VSAC User Forum: Provides ability to ask questions, provide feedback on needs to institute continuous improvement of the VSAC tool, and learn about VSAC development and future functionality. Meets monthly via webinar.
