Elevate your Stroke Program

TJC and AHA Thrombectomy

Offered in collaboration with the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association achieving Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center (TSC) Certification means you meet rigorous standards for performing endovascular thrombectomy and providing post-procedural care. Recent studies have shown the efficacy of mechanical thrombectomy for large vessel occlusive ischemic strokes.

Performance Measurement

Joint Commission-certified TSCs and organizations seeking initial certification are required to adopt a set of standardized performance measures. Organizations collect monthly data for each measure in the set. The data is then submitted quarterly to The Joint Commission.
