Controlling costs, without compromising quality or the scope of services provided, remains a top priority for laboratory leaders like you. Side-by-side comparisons of fees often show a significant, favorable advantage for the Joint Commission Laboratory Accreditation Program, which has been validated by our customers. The Joint Commission does not require reciprocal surveys at other organizations, minimizing costly disruption for your laboratory.

The cost of laboratory accreditation is based on the length of the on-site survey plus an annual fee each year of the two-year accreditation cycle. We estimate the length of the survey based on the number of specialties you provide and the number of locations. This is independent of the number of CLIA certificates you hold or the volume of tests you perform.

Whether you’re new to the Joint Commission and just starting on your journey, or you are looking for guidance after your survey or review, you’ll have plenty of on-going support.

If you’re pursuing accreditation for the first time, a member of our Business Development team will help you determine if your organization is eligible, explain the process, provide you with access to the accreditation standards and inform you about other helpful resources available to you. Once your application and deposit* has been submitted, an Account Executive will then become your primary, on-going “go to” person to help you through the process before, during and after the survey.
