Quality Check Help - Advanced Search

There are two ways to use the advanced search.  Each option has two steps.

1. Search by Type of Provider and Service (This is the default search)

Step 1

First from drop down menus, select either a type of provider or a type of care.  If you select a type of provider, you'll notice that the page will automatically refresh to load the types of care related to the provider you chose.

If you want to narrow your search geographically, proceed to step 2, if not click on the search button at the bottom of the page.

Step 2

Here you can narrow your search geographically by state, county and city or by zip code.  If you select the state option, you can enter up to four states by clicking on the drop down arrows next to the state fields. After you select a state, the page will refresh to load the cities and zip codes for that state.

If you choose to enter a zip code you can then click on the drop down arrow to choose a distance to search from the zip code you entered.

Show Organization's Main Site Only - By clicking on this box, the search results will only display the primary location for the accredited organization.  An organization may have multiple sites of care.

2. Search by organization name, parent organization or Joint Commission ID Number (To use this search option click on the link "Search by organization name or parent organization)

Step 1

You have three choices;

1. Type in the organization name
2. Click on the drop down arrow and select a parent organization
3. Type in the Joint Commission ID number

Step 2

Here you can narrow your search geographically by state, county and city or by zip code.  If you select the state option, you can enter up to four states by clicking on the drop down arrows next to the state fields. After you select a state, the page will refresh to load the cities and zip codes for that state.

If you choose to enter a zip code you can then click on the drop down arrow to choose a distance to search from the zip code you entered.
