2009 Accreditation Requirements Chapters: Pre-Publication Preview

The standards previously posted on this page have been removed in anticipation of the release of The Joint Commission’s E-dition—the electronic standards manual. All Joint Commission accredited organizations will receive one complimentary single-user license E-dition for each of their accredited programs. E-dition may be upgraded to provide unlimited concurrent access at an organization. More information about E-dition is available from Joint Commission Resources, the official publisher of The Joint Commission, at www.jcrinc.com/e-dition or (877) 223-6866.

Note:  The Home Care chapters and the Hospital Leadership Chapter will remain on this site until the March 2009 update publishes.

The Joint Commission reserves all its copyright protections to these posted 2009 standards.  In particular, without limiting its other rights, The Joint Commission absolutely prohibits the seizing of these standards for inclusion in products for sale, unless the seller has specific written permission from The Joint Commission to do so.
