Seeking Volunteer Hospitals for Pilot Testing of Blood Management Performance Measures

The Joint Commission is seeking 75 volunteer hospitals to participate in pilot testing a DRAFT set of seven Blood Management performance measures in 2010.  Hospitals that are interested need to complete the survey  by January 15, 2010.

New Candidate Measures for Screening and Treating Tobacco and Alcohol Use and Dependence

The Joint Commission is seeking volunteer hospitals to pilot test a draft set of eight tobacco and alcohol use screening and treatment performance measures. More information is available on The Joint Commission's Treating Tobacco, Alcohol and Other Drug Use and Dependence web page. Hospitals that are interested in pilot testing the draft set of measures should contact Joanne Hafner (jhafner@jointcommission.org) or Nancy Lawler (nlawler@jointcommission.org) by February 1, 2010.
