Ms. Solomon is executive vice president and general counsel of ECRI Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the discipline of applied scientific research to discover which medical procedures, devices, drugs, and processes are best to improve the safety and quality of patient care. ECRI Institute is designated as a Collaborating Center of the World Health Organization, an Evidence-Based Practice Center by the U.S. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and a federally certified Patient Safety Organization. Ms. Solomon leads numerous Institute initiatives in patient safety and quality ranging from safety reporting programs to system assessment programs to publications, education and consultation. |

| She has 20 years of experience in healthcare law, risk management, and patient safety. She serves as the Center Director for the ECRI Institute Collaborating Center for World Health Organization. She serves on the Joint Commission’s Sentinel Event Advisory Group, which establishes the National Patient Safety Goals for healthcare facilities. |
