Sheryl Niebuhr is manager for the Total Compensation Resource Center at 3M Corporation. In this role, she provides strategic leadership for the design of 3M's health and productivity services, including personal health and disease management, work and personal life resources, employee assistance, and leader and organizational consultation. She also serves as part of the strategic planning leadership for 3M's heal care plans, integrated disability management programs, and multi-employer and purchaser initiatives to influence health care market reform.

Prior to joining 3M in 1990, Niebuhr worked as a practitioner, program developer, trainer and consultant with the Wilder Foundation, serving health care and long term care organizations and providers, chronic condition associations, human service agencies, educational systems, and grant making and religious organizations.

Niebuhr is a member of the Business Advisory Group of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. She is an adjunct clinical assistant professor in Counseling Psychology at the University of Minnesota.
