Martha Lanning is corporate director of Health, Life and Disability Plans for Sherwin-Williams Company. Prior to joining Sherwin-Williams, Lanning served as the senior director for Employee Benefits Programs and Strategies for COSE, a subsidiary of the Greater Cleveland Partnership for the Chamber of Commerce for greater Cleveland, Ohio.
 
Previously, she served as a benefits officer and human resource generalist at Ameritrust bank in Cleveland for five years.
 
Lanning is a member of the Business Advisory Group of The Joint Commission and the Health and Human Resources Committee of the National Small Business Association. She serves on the board of directors for the Health Action Council of Northeast Ohio and chairs its Community Initiatives Committee, which focuses on initiatives to improve patient safety and health care quality in the Cleveland area.

Lanning holds bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Human Resource Management from Quincy College in Quincy, Ill.
