Evaluating Safety and Quality Using the National Patient Safety Goals

In order to evaluate the safety and the quality of care provided at our accredited health care organizations, each year the Joint Commission establishes National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs).  These goals have specific requirements for protecting patients.

How well do organizations follow the goals?
