Publicity Kit For Certified Organizations

Celebrating Certification From The Joint Commission

Congratulations on achieving certification for disease-specific care, health care staffing services, or transplant centers from The Joint Commission. Certification by the Joint Commission means your organization or program complies with the highest national standards for safety and quality of care. Let your organization’s patients, customers, insurance carriers, media and community know that your organization earned this prestigious Gold Seal of Approval™.

Here are some suggestions:

  • Use the Gold Seal of Approval™ to promote your certification. We’ve included two Gold Seal of Approval™ decals in this kit for you to display at the main entrance of your facility. You or your printer may download artwork of the Gold Seal of Approval™ from our online publicity kit to incorporate the Gold Seal of Approval™ into print, billboard, television, and online advertising, organization letterhead and other stationery, business cards, patient, client  or customer information, educational materials, and your organization’s website.

Click here to download artwork of the Gold Seal of Approval™

Your organization can also order Gold Seal of Approval™ products through our affiliate, Joint Commission Resources (JCR). To view JCR’s online catalog, go to www.jcrinc.com, click on the shopping cart, or call JCR Customer Service toll-free at (877) 223-6866.

  • Display your organization’s Certificate of Distinction in a prominent location. Order additional certificates by contacting Joint Commission Business Coordinator Jean Sponzilli at (630) 792-5862 or jsponzilli@jointcommission.org.

Publicize your organization’s certification in its promotional and educational literature.  The Joint Commission developed a brochure for programs with Disease-Specific Care Certification entitled “The Joint Commission: Assessing the Quality of Care in Disease Management” to explain the significance of Joint Commission Disease-Specific Care Certification to current and prospective patients or clients. Your organization or its printer may freely download the brochure from our online publicity kit and customize the back panel of the brochure to include information about the organization or program. • Include information on the benefits of Joint Commission certification in your program’s newsletters and in presentations to staff, board members and community groups.
