Provides on-site consultation, education and technical assistance to U.S. and international healthcare organizations to assist them in improving patient care. These positions work with the JCR Central Office Staff (based in Oak Brook, IL) to grow the business, develop proposals, and deliver consultation and custom education engagements. Additionally, our consultants maintain current knowledge of health care trends and proven solutions for improving patient care.
Requirements: The level of knowledge and experience equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a master’s degree in health care or a related field. Seeking RN’s, PharmD’s and engineers. Ten or more years of experience in health care, with seven to ten years of progressively more responsible experience in senior healthcare management or quality/performance improvement. RN’s must have current knowledge of infection prevention, control and healthcare epidemiology, and certification in infection prevention and control. Experience in a health care consulting role is highly desirable. Comprehensive knowledge of Joint Commission and/or JCI standards and survey process required, and current and relevant knowledge of healthcare issues and strategies. Excellent communication, and computer literacy required. Approximately seventy-five (75%) percent travel required. Ability to adapt to diverse cultures and sometimes challenging travel conditions. Fluency in Spanish, French, German Portuguese or Arabic preferred. Must be able to lift 25 pounds, climb stairs and ladders and be able to travel 100% of work time.
